Independent computational research initiative

Different patients may need different paths.

Psychiatric treatments often produce heterogeneous responses. Hofmann Research investigates whether rigorous, harmonized participant-level evidence can help explain why patients respond, remit, relapse, or fail to respond.

Mission

Participant-level evidence before prediction.

Hofmann Research studies heterogeneous psychiatric treatment response through rigorous, harmonized participant-level evidence, beginning with psychedelic treatments for major depressive disorder and treatment-resistant depression.

The initiative does not provide medical services, treatment advice, products, institutional sponsorship, or claims of treatment superiority. The current work is evidence mapping, IPD-readiness assessment, and harmonization design.
